Wooden basket shaped like an apple, thinks it's a slinky. Vintage Collapsible Wooden Apple Fruit Basket & Trivet Mid-Century Style Folding Wood Bowl Design: Clever spiral-cut design that transforms from a flat trivet into a sturdy hanging fruit basket. Shape: Classic Apple silhouette with a stem/handle. Material: Richly stained wood (likely mahogany or rosewood finish). Function: Perfect for kitchen countertop storage, a rustic centerpiece, or as a functional trivet for hot pots. Folds flat for easy storage when not in use. CCondition Notes (Please Read): This piece shows its vintage age and is priced accordingly. Hardware: The bottom screw is loose/stripped; it holds but isn't a tight seal. Structure: The inner layers have slid over timeif held at the wrong angle, they can fall through like a slinky. It still functions as a basket once set down and balanced on its base. Aesthetic: Minor surface scuff on the stem (see photos). Perfect for: A rustic kitchen display, a DIY fix-it project, or for use as a flat trivet/wall decor.
