Up for sale is the legendary MQ101 Environmental Equalizer, a masterpiece created by McIntosh in the 1970s to perfectly harmonize speaker and listening room acoustics. Connect it to classic units like the C22 and control the low frequencies of large monitors like the JBL 4344 to match your space. The MQ101 is the crucial final piece to complete the ultimate listening environment you envision. [Condition and Operation] • Verified and operational by Hi-Fi Do. The equalization function for each band and the independent left/right controls operate very smoothly. • As this is a vintage item, there are minor scratches and dullness commensurate with its age on the exterior. However, there is no fatal damage, and it retains a beautiful appearance. (※Please be sure to check the photos for details.) • A wooden case is also included. [Reason for Selling] Due to system upgrades, I cannot bear to let this valuable masterpiece sit unused and wish to pass it on to someone who deeply understands its worth. For those who have been searching for this someday I'll get one item, opportunities to acquire a verified and operational unit from Hi-Fi Do will only become rarer. If you wish to elevate your audio system to the next level, please consider this opportunity. Immediate purchase will be prioritized. ⚠️ Important Notes Please only purchase if you understand used/vintage equipment. Those who are overly sensitive should refrain from buying. Even if it is fully functional now, there is a possibility of malfunction in a few years due to the passage of time. I would like to pass this on to someone who understands that it is a used item.
