Vintage Jeweled Crown Ice Bucket Silver Plate Mid Century Barware Carnival Queen Very good vintage condition with visible patina, tarnish, surface wear, and light scratching consistent with age and prior use. The silver-plated finish has not been professionally polished and is being sold in its current vintage condition. Please review all photos closely for condition. Inscription plaque on the bottom Details: * Vintage silver-plated crown-form ice bucket / champagne cooler * Mid-century style barware * Dramatic court jester / royal crown silhouette * Multicolor jewel-like glass accents around the body and base * Ball-tipped crown points * Substantial decorative statement piece * Approx. 9.5 diameter at top * Approx. 7 diameter at base * Approx. 8 deep * Weight: 3 lb 6.4 oz * Bottom presentation plaque reads: A Beautiful Queen / A Majestic Time / Love, King Russ Description: The underside features a personalized presentation plaque reading A Beautiful Queen / A Majestic Time / Love, King Russ. The piece was acquired from the same estate as other Memphis Carnival-related memorabilia, so the royal presentation inscription may have been connected with a carnival, krewe, or court celebration; however, the exact event and individuals have not been independently confirmed. A wonderfully unusual piece of mid-century barware with strong Hollywood Regency, carnival, Mardi Gras, royal, and maximalist appeal.
