BBE 2002R Stereo Sound Processor (Includes Manual, Operation Confirmed) This is a rare, high-end audio processor made by BBE (Barcus-Berry Electronics). Manufactured in the USA in the mid-1980s, this unit was the flagship model with an original retail price of $549, making it a premium device approximately 40% more expensive than later overseas models ($329). This is an extremely rare model with very few units in existence. [Product Condition] Acquired in the 90s, I am the first owner. At the time, when I used it in my stereo system, many visitors commented, Why does it sound so good? Power confirmed, operation of both IN/OUT channels confirmed. Indicator lamps light up normally. The switches have a unique response, but they have been in this condition since I acquired the unit. (Similar feel to a dimension chorus effector) Two rubber feet on the rear bottom are missing. Internal inspection confirmed. Includes original instruction manual. As this is an old item, it will be sold as-is. Please purchase with understanding. Thank you for looking.
