This is the TOA RU-2001 remote unit, which allows for microphone on/off and volume adjustment. How about using it for facility audio, PA system replacement, or as a spare unit? [Product Condition and Operation Check Details] The interior has been cleaned using compressed air. Although manufactured in 2009, all functions are in good working order. The following operations have been confirmed using a compatible AC adapter: Microphone Link: Confirmed that the microphone works properly when the pre-talk switch is pressed. Audio is output between the H-C terminals of the balanced transformer output on the terminal board. Volume (VR): No crackling (noise), and volume can be adjusted smoothly. Operation has been confirmed for both the AC adapter terminal and the 12V power supply terminal on the terminal block. Confirmed that the remote terminal has continuity (normally open contact) when pre-talk is ON. Exterior: Although operational, the case has scratches, and there is rust on the edges. The transparent terminal protection cover for the terminal block on the back is missing.
