It is also known simply as the DC-15 blaster rifle. It was standard issue for Clone Troopers in the Grand Army of the Republic and was widely used during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Compared to the standard issue DC-15A blaster carbine, it was larger, heavier, more powerful, and had a longer range.
