【BELDEN】9497 Dual Spec Speaker Cable 1.5m S-S This is a superior speaker cable made by twisting two strands of BELDEN 9497, affectionately known as the Sea Snake. Continuity has been confirmed, so you can use it immediately upon arrival. Length and quantity changes, as well as switching to Speakon/banana plugs, are possible. Please feel free to comment. ■ Specifications Length: Approx. 1.5m Connectors: 1/4 TS phone plugs (6.35mm), straight on both ends Plugs: G&H BF2PS BGG (OFC core, gold-plated) Cable: BELDEN 9497 x 2 parallel strands Continuity confirmed ■ Sound Character Tight, controlled, and powerful low frequencies Thick mid-range Clear high frequencies with minimal noise Dual specification further enhances low-end volume and tightness Improved attack transient response Recommended for speaker cable replacement and upgrades. ■ About BELDEN 9497 A speaker cable with a long history of trust and proven performance in live houses and recording studios. Its twisted pair structure with two AWG16 (19 strands/0.28mm TC) tinned annealed copper conductors minimizes external noise interference. The fine twist pitch improves noise resistance, resulting in a thick mid-range and a sound that feels like it's delivered as a solid block. Its straightforward sound, without unnecessary coloration, faithfully transmits the player's intent to the speakers. ■ About G&H BFS Phone Plugs These are G&H phone plugs featuring an OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) core. The gold plating is resistant to rust, preventing degradation due to contact oxidation even after repeated use in live performances, ensuring stable connections over the long term. The BFS series has a large opening that accommodates cables up to approximately 10mm in diameter, ensuring a secure fit for thicker cables. ■ Custom Orders Also Accepted Length and quantity changes, as well as switching to Speakon/banana plugs, are possible.
