This listing is for a pair of speakers. Non-smoker, no pets, in good working order, fully functional. Used a few times in a studio and then carefully stored in a closet. Ideal for mixing and mastering. Original price was ¥93,500. Powered Full Range Mini Reference Monitors ・Active monitors for recording or mixing ・Developed as a modern version of the Auratone 5C Sound Cube, with over 25 years of history ・115V specification The Avantone Mixcube is a magnetically shielded, full-range mini reference monitor. It was developed as a modern version of the Auratone 5C Sound Cube, which has been a studio standard for over 25 years. Usage Active monitors for recording or mixing The Active Mixcubes come as a set of two speakers and two power modules. The power modules for the Active Mixcubes require 115V. Development Purpose The Avantone Active Mixcubes are high-resolution, full-range, powered mini reference monitor speakers. They were developed for use in studios or for bringing to recording sessions. Performance Many studios use 2-way or 3-way large monitor speakers that can reproduce sound at high volumes and across a wide range. In this new era of high-resolution audio, it's important to check mixes with the understanding that they will be played back on various systems, such as TVs, boomboxes, computers, car stereos, and iPod docking stations, as not everyone has a high-end playback system. This is where using appropriate reference monitors becomes crucial. Speakers with compromised sound quality due to crossovers or lo-fi full-range drivers cannot provide accurate referencing. It is especially important to pay close attention to mid-range tracks such as vocals, guitars, and keyboards. This is where full-range monitors without crossovers truly shine.
