This is a YAMAHA MSP5 studio monitor speaker. It is a powered monitor with stepped equalization for low and high frequencies. I purchased it used several years ago and have been using it, but I am selling it due to equipment replacement. Both the amplifier and speaker sections are functioning without any issues. Although I have not measured it, I feel there is a slight difference in output level even when the volume knobs on both units are set to the same position, but this can be resolved by adjusting the volume so that the sound image is centered. There is no crackling in the volume knobs. I believe you can enjoy solid bass and well-balanced sound quality for DTM, online movie viewing, and more. As you can see in the photos, there are several scratches from use, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about them. Only the power cord is included.
