This is a koto in good condition, suitable for concert use. It is made with a focus on practicality, showcasing the craftsman's skill in its simple yet elegant design. About the Koto: This is a high-quality koto made from domestic paulownia wood, originally purchased for over one million yen. It is crafted from the finest parts of the wood, giving it a substantial weight compared to typical instruments. I acquired it two years ago and am now selling it because I purchased another koto and lack storage space. - Solid volume and a beautiful, nuanced tone. - The grain of the kou (soundboard) is beautiful and easy on the eyes during performance. - Inspected and adjusted by a craftsman at a Japanese musical instrument store (July 5, 2024). Complete Set of Accessories: - Koto bridge box (fabric-covered, with cat's feet legs) - Koto bridges (high-grade natural material, used) - Oil container (brocade fabric) - Standing koto stand (Type A) - Sheet music stand for seated performance - Soft carrying case (red) Everything needed for performance is included. You can play it as soon as you have the picks. About the Transaction: - Ships via Tanomeru-bin (specialized for musical instruments). - A ¥10,000 discount will be applied for in-person pickup. If you wish to pick it up, please let me know in the comments as I will need to relist the item. (I am located in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture). *Please note that cancellations and returns are not accepted. ⚠️ This item will be shipped via Tanomeru-bin.
