We are considering a slight price increase before summer. If you are considering purchasing, please do so before the price increase!! This is an original koma (bridge) for the kokyu (a three-stringed Japanese instrument) from Owara Kaze no Bon in Yatsuo, Toyama Prefecture, famous for the Echuu Owara Bushi folk song. (It can also be used for kokyu of other genres.) (Special introductory price / One-of-a-kind item) Most commercially available koma are thick to maintain strength, but this is an extremely thin, high-resonance koma. It also has a feature on the back to prevent cracking, significantly reducing the risk of the koma breaking during attachment and removal. It has a polished finish and is sparkling clean! ⭐︎ Furthermore, while commercially available kokyu koma are made from a single piece of bamboo, this koma is made by separating the upper part from 400-year-old susudake (smoked bamboo) and the lower part from 500-year-old susudake, and then further incorporating genuine tortoiseshell for the cracks. It is a very labor-intensive piece. Please check images 4 and 5 for its luxurious appearance when attached. Due to the labor-intensive nature of this koma, the next arrival is undecided! First come, first served! *This listing is for the koma only. ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ [Materials] * Susudake & Genuine Tortoiseshell Susudake has a unique color (susudake color), is hard, and highly durable, but it is extremely difficult to obtain. [Size] Height: 5 bu 9 rin (approx. 17.9 mm) Width: 77 mm Thickness: 0.7 mm [String Grooves] The groove for the third string is cut slightly higher than the groove for the first string. Some players prefer this as it makes playing easier. ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ Also, although this is a new and unused item, we are looking for buyers who understand that it is a handmade item. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection. ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ If you purchase multiple items, we will offer a discount equivalent to the shipping cost depending on the quantity. Please let us know in the comments before purchasing. ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ [Custom Koma Orders for Kokyu, Shamisen, and Sanshin Available] * Main Body Materials: Genuine Susudake, Madake (Moso Bamboo), Yakusugi (Cryptomeria japonica from Yakushima), Kurogaki (Black Persimmon Wood), Sakura (Cherry Blossom Wood), Hawaiian Koa Wood, Jindaisugi (Ancient Cedar), Kiri (Paulownia Wood), etc. * Height: Can be specified. * Quantity: Available from 1 piece. * Price: Starting from 4,000 yen. Prices vary depending on the material and the pattern of the genuine tortoiseshell.
