This is an original koma (bridge) for kokyu, made in Yatsuo, Toyama Prefecture, famous for the Etchu Owara Bushi and Owara Kaze no Bon festival. (Can also be used for other types of kokyu) (Special introductory price / One-of-a-kind item) Most commercially available koma are thick to maintain strength, but this is an extremely thin, high-resonance koma. It also has a crack prevention feature on the back, significantly reducing the risk of the koma breaking during attachment or removal. Furthermore, while commercially available kokyu koma are made from a single piece of bamboo, this koma is crafted by separating and joining two pieces of aged bamboo (500 years old) for the upper and lower parts, and then incorporating genuine tortoise shell for the split. This is a very labor-intensive construction. Due to the intricate craftsmanship, the next arrival is undecided! First come, first served! ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ [Materials] * Aged Bamboo & Premium Genuine Tortoise Shell Aged bamboo has a unique color (aged bamboo color), is hard, and highly durable, but it is extremely difficult to obtain. [Size] Height: 5 bu 9 rin Width: 76mm Thickness: 0.7mm [String Grooves] The groove for the third string is cut slightly higher than the groove for the first string. Some players prefer this for easier playing. ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ This is a new and unused item, but we are looking for buyers who understand handmade products. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection. ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ For multiple purchases, we offer a discount equivalent to the shipping cost depending on the quantity. Please contact us in the comments before purchasing. ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・♪ [Custom Koma Orders for Kokyu, Shamisen, and Sanshin Accepted] * Main Materials: Genuine Aged Bamboo, Madake Bamboo, Yakusugi Cedar, Black Persimmon Wood, Cherry Blossom Wood, Hawaiian Koa Wood, Jindai Cedar, Paulownia Wood, etc. * Height: Can be specified. * Quantity: Available from 1 piece. * Price: Starting from 4,000 yen Prices vary depending on materials and genuine tortoise shell patterns.
