This is the Brookie B0-1 from Galvan Fly Reels. After purchasing it at Brook, I used it a few times for stream fishing and then stored it at home. The mechanism is in good condition, the retrieve is smooth, and the click sound is comparable to new. There are some minor scratches from stream fishing, but they do not affect performance in any way. This reel weighs a very light 71g. It has a small outer diameter and a classic appearance, but a large inner diameter, eliminating the need for backing line. This allows for a light overall weight even when loaded with fly line. It was perfectly balanced for use with a short rod on streams. This is a reel that you don't see very often, so please consider it if you have the chance. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions. Retail Price: ¥60,170 (tax included) The following is the manufacturer's product description. The Brookie series is an ultra-lightweight reel. This new product features a newly developed click bowl system for further weight reduction. The body has a unique design that has been machined down to the bare minimum required for strength. This reel is especially satisfying for use with low-weight lines. MADE IN USA. HIGHLIGHTS Machined from a solid block of high-strength A6061 aluminum. Features a counter-balance on the opposite side of the knob for smooth rotation. Uses a silicone spring and adjustable set screw mechanism instead of conventional spring tension. Large arbor design for a traditional look and feel. Achieves maximum strength-to-weight ratio through CAD blueprints and innovative machining. Type II anodized finish for improved wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and saltwater safety.
