This is a DVD set from T&H. 4 discs. Retail price ¥25,520. The case has a crack inside as shown in the third photo, but the DVD discs are in perfect condition. I myself became a coach for a junior high school table tennis club with little prior experience and struggled with what and how to teach. However, this DVD clarified how to coach inexperienced club members and what practice content to use depending on the season, allowing me to coach with confidence. Thanks to this, we were able to consistently advance to the district tournament and become regulars at the prefectural tournament. I highly recommend this DVD to anyone struggling with coaching junior high school students. The following is quoted from the T&H website: ------- Katsumi Ohashi, a professional in nurturing beginners, finally reveals his unique coaching theory. How to improve beginners who started table tennis in junior high school over 2 years and 4 months, by the summer of their third year. We will introduce coaching policies, training philosophies, practice methods, and key points, divided into Beginner Coaching and Coaching from the New Team. The numerous practice menus that beginners can immediately incorporate and feel their progress will be a strong support for junior high school table tennis clubs with many beginners. [Disc 1 Beginner Coaching ① April-July of 1st Year (38 minutes)] This disc covers the training menu for April-July of the first year of junior high school, which is the most crucial period within the 2 years and 4 months until the summer of the third year. By thoroughly mastering basic strokes such as backhand, forehand, and push in this period, future growth will be significantly different. [Disc 2 Beginner Coaching ② August of 1st Year - March (51 minutes)] This disc contains the training menu from August of the first year to March. It covers how to acquire main techniques and leads up to connecting rallies, which is the goal to achieve by the end of the first year. [Disc 3 Coaching from the New Team ① 2nd Year (47 minutes)] This disc features the training menu for the second year of junior high school. As the new team starts, we will focus on improving serves, receives, basic practice, and footwork while setting individual and team goals, aiming to raise the overall skill level. [Disc 4 Coaching from the New Team ② 2nd and 3rd Year (52 minutes)] This disc covers the training menu from the end of the second year to the third year of junior high school.
