From the manufacturer's website: IOS Drag Grease Dekakuma (for freshwater & saltwater) The strategic drag grease Shirokuma is made even more viscous and powerful! Like Shirokuma, the overwhelming performance brought by 100% synthetic formulation provides excellent hook penetration with thick gauge hooks for close-range battles around structures where you want to stop the drag but can't, cover games for bass and snakehead, and for hooking power at long ranges and in deep water. Of course, like Shirokuma, it ensures reliable drag operation from extreme cold to the heat of midsummer and torrential downpours. The grease, with 300% more viscosity than Shirokuma, creates the crucial pause during hooking that is essential for fishing, and once a fish hits, it allows for minimal drag slippage, constantly applying tension to the hook and reducing the risk of losing the fish. Furthermore, it allows for stable slippage against a fish's sudden runs. This is a drag grease for connoisseurs, designed for experts. The following is purely my personal subjective opinion, but the hardness is on the firm side with strong viscosity, and compared to Shirokuma, it feels even more viscous. Against pulls stronger than the drag setting, it smoothly releases line, but against instantaneous pulls, instead of immediately releasing drag, it creates a slight pause, allowing the rod to do its work and making hooking and controlling the fish easier. Dekakuma feels like this pause and the resistance when releasing line are enhanced compared to Shirokuma. You might think the amount is small, but you don't need to apply a lot, so you can maintain one multi-plate drag reel with this amount. Buying a whole bottle is expensive and you get a lot, and it would be a waste if the feel doesn't suit you, so if you've been hesitant to buy, please try this first. I am also selling other items.
