This is the flagship model of Daiwa's meabring rods from that era, the Daiwa Gekka Bijin Saltist Extreme STX-RF75-SVF Saika! It's a rod that truly embodies Daiwa's concept of Feel Alive (feeling the best moments)!! It was also the most expensive rod! The design, which incorporates Japanese aesthetics in various details such as the mother-of-pearl (raden) pattern on the reel seat, the urushi lacquer-style thread wrap, and the name section inspired by the Gekka Bijin flower, is a beautiful and elaborate creation that brings joy to ownership!! Please zoom in and take a look! Purchased new and used for only a few hours. The reel seat to rod end is short, making it a very easy-to-handle and well-balanced rod! As you can see in the images, it is in beautiful condition, almost like new. You won't find another one in this condition. The blank, reel seat, and rod end are all scratch-free! The outer box and rod case are also the original ones from that time. We are looking for someone who understands the value of this rod! A new sensation meabring rod developed based on the Play concept. The low-elastic carbon composite tip combines the benefits of a solid, which excels in bite detection and hooking, with a tubular, which offers excellent operability and sensitivity. It connects subtle pre-bites to a sure hookset and minimizes lost fish. Despite its advanced SVF COMPILE-X blank, the inherent stiffness is intentionally suppressed, creating a Japanese rod taper where the pivot point smoothly transitions under load. It possesses the power to contend with seabass and the sensitivity to grasp even the underwater resistance during retrieves, while offering a supple and beautiful bending curve that makes the play more profound. It allows for easy casting timing and enables long casts even with lightweight jig heads. Thank you for your consideration.
