This is a listing for the G-CRAFT MPB-782-TR. This rod is more versatile than the manufacturer's description suggests. The length is suitable for both shore and offshore use. In my opinion, I used it for lures weighing approximately 10g to 85g. It's quite rare for a baitcasting rod to use 46t carbon, making it highly sensitive. No claims or returns, please. I am selling this due to a shift in focus to golf. Excerpt from manufacturer's description: Monster Plugger, a new category specifically for seabass fishing, designed to comfortably handle large plugs. (omitted) The 7.8ft 78-3 Special is a fast-action model that supports both shore and offshore fishing. It offers excellent operability with shore casting of 20g-class normal minnows to 50g-class big minnows, as well as long-distance casting. It also provides secure and comfortable handling of S-shaped joint minnows weighing from the high 30g to 60g range, and allows for agile panic actions and dog walks with topwater lures from 30g to 80g. This rod is lightweight with a lure max of 3oz, yet possesses the strength to be handled without fear. Finally, although this rod is designed to bend, you may initially feel it is stiff. Please remember that it is designed for use up to five years from now. We hope you will first catch about 50 fish of 80cm+ and around 4kg, totaling approximately 200kg of fish. Only then will you truly appreciate the design of this 78-3 Special, which allows you to fully challenge for lunker-class fish with autumn baitfish, konoshiro, big minnows, and big baits. Like the TR series, the First782 PIN-SHOT Special is completed by blending 30t+40t for the tip and 30t+40t+46t for the butt. Click here for the manufacturer's site
