Purchased new last year. It was bought as a spare rod and has only been used for one day. I am selling it because I can no longer fish for Ayu. This is a used item that has been used, so please no claims or returns. Quoted from the rod maker's website: ST90SP (Hayase Nuki) - Tip-action rod This model was developed through thorough comparative testing with D Company's T90 Technical model. The 8-axis construction achieves incredible power despite its lightness. It has unbelievably amazing sensitivity, power, and lightness. A slim and lightweight model with phenomenal power and next-level sensitivity. Rod blank weight: 205g (unpainted state, including butt cap) *There may be slight individual differences. Achieve the action of a major manufacturer's ¥380,000 rod at this price! You can get this action at this price. Recommended for those who prioritize actual fishing, and for those seeking a stiff, light rod at a low price! This is our highest-end model that we confidently recommend. The material is equivalent to or better than the materials used in major manufacturers' high-grade models. Utilizes the highest grade PAN material in existence, TORAY13056, to the maximum. A long-awaited tip-action, lightweight model (tip diameter of the butt section: 21.0mm). A model that pursues the demand for a slim, light, and stiff rod. Developed through comparison with major manufacturers' top-tier models. The lightest tip-action rod! It holds its own even in thorough comparisons with original special models. It's a tip-action rod that feels light with no tip-heaviness. Achieves an unbelievable action at this price. The entire rod is made of high elasticity material, so there's no need to rely on a very thick tip for ease of retrieval or operability. The 1.2mm high-sensitivity tip allows for high sensitivity without weakening the bait, making it usable in all seasons. High-sensitivity 1.2mm tubular tip, and ultra-high elasticity from the 2nd to 8th sections of the butt. Lightweight design throughout. For the same thickness, weight, and price range, there are few, if any, rods that surpass this model in action, power, and sensitivity. Uses TORAY's highest grade PAN (acrylic-based carbon composite material) 13056. The high-sensitivity, high-elasticity, thick-walled tubular tip is stiff and thin, achieving the same stiffness as a slightly thicker tip, and the combination of stiffness and thinness results in high sensitivity. Standard length: 9.0m ・ Number of sections: 8 ・ Closed length: 1420mm ・ Weight: 205g ・ Tip diameter: 1.2mm ・ Butt diameter: 26mm ・ Standard tip: 1.2mm tubular ・ Lure weight: Standard (gou) 0-6 ・ Compatible underwater line: Metal 0.02-0.25 gou, Nylon 0.1-0.8 gou ¥81,180- Fish species: Ayu Click here for the manufacturer's site
