The HSS3jb is a DIY video synthesizer/noise generator. By manipulating the knobs, you can switch noise patterns, and it also functions as a video synthesizer that generates graphic-based psychedelic visuals in sync with the noise. You can enjoy electronic and geometric visuals that are difficult to create manually. (Images 7, 8, and 9 are quoted from the official website. These are examples of the visuals you can create.) [Operation Status] We have confirmed that the sound source operates, but we have not been able to test the video output due to a lack of a suitable operating environment. Furthermore, the operation of other features such as the MIDI and trigger terminals, and detailed switches related to video, have not been confirmed. Please understand these points before purchasing. [Quoted from the official page below] The Hard Soft Synth 3jb is a new audio/video synthesizer from noise maker extraordinaire, Gieskes. It features 15 excellent audio/video modes, each with 4-5 adjustment parameters. Additionally, there are 8 video-only modes for use with trigger inputs and audio inputs. Adjustable analog filters allow for smooth visuals (or gritty visuals, to your preference). - 15 audio + video modes and 8 video-only modes. - RCA, S-Video, and VGA video outputs. - Audio, IR, trigger inputs, and trigger output. IR connection with Handmade Music Austin or Gieskes devices, control of modular synths via trigger, or use the audio input to control the sound and video of the HSS3i. - Analog low-pass filter controlled by a photocell. - MIDI input for controlling device parameters. - Circuit bending, color switching, fading, and individual color control for video. - New enclosure and more compact design (5.5 x 3.5 x 2.5). - NTSC and PAL output.
