There are marks from magic marker used to erase the name. Please check the photos before purchasing. This is a vintage glove from Mizuno, commonly known as the **Green Cup**, which was all the rage from the 1970s to the 1980s. It was a symbol of aspiration for baseball boys at the time and remains a masterpiece highly popular among old fans and collectors even today. As indicated by the CREST LEATHER and FOR PROFESSIONAL PLAY stamps on the palm, high-quality cowhide, similar to that used for professional players at the time, was used. The photos show that the leather's luster and firmness are maintained, which is remarkable for an item several decades old, demonstrating Mizuno's high manufacturing technology at the time. Aging: It has been well-used in a good way, giving the leather a unique depth (aging). • Repair marks: While there are marks from magic marker touch-ups, the condition of the welting and lacing indicates that it has been carefully stored and maintained. • Rarity: The combination of the script Mizuno logo (different from the current Mizuno Runbird logo) and the green cup is rarely found today, making this a highly valuable item as a Showa retro baseball collectible.
