For those who enjoy splitting firewood, why not consider a special baton stick? It will make splitting firewood significantly easier and more enjoyable. Treat your baton stick as a piece of camping gear to be nurtured, and enjoy its aging process. This is a one-of-a-kind, handmade baton stick, individually crafted by carving from natural wood. By intentionally avoiding oil and using solid wood, it offers a warm, pleasant texture, allowing you to feel the warmth of the wood just by holding it. The more you use it, the more it will fit your hand, and you can also enjoy observing its aging process. [Product Features] This handmade baton stick is crafted by carving from a log of hardwood (Zelkova serrata, or Keyaki). Keyaki is known as the king of Japanese trees, boasting beautiful grain patterns, exceptional hardness, and durability. It also has excellent longevity and has been used for furniture and construction materials since ancient times. The great appeal of Keyaki lies in its beautiful grain and luster. Furthermore, as years pass, its color deepens, making it a wood whose aging process can be enjoyed. The branched part is used, making it extra sturdy. Compared to typical baton sticks, its longer length increases striking power through centrifugal force. We use Keyaki logs that have been dried for two years, so further cracking is unlikely to occur. With a weight of approximately 1110g, you can easily split firewood just by swinging it down. Its weight also allows it to be used for driving tent stakes. Due to its destructive power, we recommend using it with full-tang knives or hatchets. Paracord is threaded through the tip of the grip, allowing for hanging storage. It can also stand on its own, enabling storage in an upright position. The entire stick has been torched with a burner to create a scorched finish and black processing. ◎Size Diameter: Approx. 80mm Length: Approx. 420mm Weight: Approx. 1110g *Due to the nature of natural wood, further cracking may occur over time. Cracking is a sign of drying. As it dries, it becomes harder, and the strength (hardness) of the baton stick increases. *This product is made from natural materials. While we are confident in its durability, there is no guarantee that it will not break. Please consider that it will eventually break with long-term use.
