Intel X710-DA2 - Vendor Lock Unlocked Achieve over 6-7 Gbps on Windows 11. Please see images for confirmation. This is the renowned, highly durable, and standard server-class X710-DA2 NIC. Simply install it and you'll have a reliable network connection. This is a genuine Intel product, not a refurbished unit with an Intel imprint. It's recognized immediately when plugged into a PCI slot, and drivers can be installed from Intel's official website. The connection uses SFP+ sockets. If you plan to use standard LAN cables, you will need an RJ45 module. The deep-level unlocking ensures that Intel's proprietary vendor lock remains removed even after firmware updates. For general users who find consumer-grade NICs from brands like ASUS unstable on 10GbE lines, or are unsatisfied with speed and latency, the X710, a highly regarded server-grade NIC, might be your ultimate solution. Stepping up to higher-performance server-class NICs can lead you down a rabbit hole beyond amateur territory, making the X710 the best choice. I purchased this used item on Mercari and used it for approximately 10 days, with actual connection and speed tests conducted for about 5 days in total. It is no longer needed as I am transitioning to a 25GbE LAN environment. In my environment, using an RJ45 module, I achieved speeds of 6-7 Gbps during Sunday evenings and nights. Latency was 3ms. When testing from Osaka to a Tokyo measurement site, latency was 10ms. For users engaged in video editing or online gaming who are using their ISP's rental router, this level of performance is more than sufficient. The attached image shows the speed test results taken just before removal. Please consider purchasing with the understanding that this is a used item. *This unit has had its vendor lock removed.
