This is a listing for a very old camera. The condition is quite poor, but I've decided to list it. I have absolutely no knowledge about cameras, so I've included an explanation generated by ChatGPT below: I can't even tell if this explanation is correct, so please view it for reference only. This is a bellows-type medium format film camera made in Japan shortly after the war. The model shown in the photos appears to be from the Minolta Semi P series. Key features include: It's a spring camera type that uses a bellows that is pulled out for shooting. The front lens is engraved with CORONA NIPPON (a Japanese lens). Around the lens, there are markings such as PATENT 102550/102900. These are patent numbers from that era in Japan. There is an accessory shoe on the top (for attaching strobes or viewfinders). The side is engraved with Minolta. This Semi-format camera uses 120 film to take 4.5x6cm photos and was very popular from before the war through the post-war period. It's the equivalent of today's compact medium format cameras. Looking at its condition, the bellows are deteriorated, so it would likely require repair or replacement to actually take photos. However, from a collector's perspective, it's a valuable piece for discussing the history of Japanese cameras after the war. *I will be listing other old cameras as well. I want to sell them quickly, so if you purchase them together, I'm willing to offer a significant discount. Thank you for your consideration. Click here for the manufacturer's site
