This is a rechargeable automatic bird feeder specifically designed for small dry pellets and dry seeds (1mm-4mm). Set the timer, and your bird can be fed. You can set up to 3 feeding times per day. For each feeding time, you can set the compartment to move up to 3 times. If you put too much food in one compartment, it may jam and not function properly. Please divide the food into portions for each meal and set the number of compartment movements accordingly. The amount of food varies depending on your bird's weight. For example, for a medium-sized parakeet that eats small pellets, you can set half of one meal's portion in two adjacent compartments and utilize the compartment movement function. While it's generally said that daily food intake should be about 10% of your bird's body weight, this can vary based on bone structure, individual differences, age, and activity level. Please consult with an avian veterinarian to determine the appropriate amount for your bird and set it accordingly. This feeder is intended to assist with your bird's regular feeding schedule. It is not a device to be used when you are away for extended travel. Please check daily to ensure the food is dispensing correctly and operate the feeder at your own discretion. Depending on the cage shape, the pipe may not fit or may require special modification. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing. Even with cage wire widths of 1.1mm or 1.3mm, the pipe will need to be inserted by gently spreading the wires, which may cause distortion. Please be aware of this beforehand. We are not responsible for any damage caused by cage modifications or alterations, nor do we offer any warranty. The main unit is not waterproof. Only the compartment ring can be removed and washed with water. Wipe other parts with a dry cloth. The current time may also drift, so please reset the current time as needed. If your bird pecks at or damages any parts, please remove them immediately. We are not liable for any accidents, including accidental ingestion, injury, or food jams, nor do we offer any warranty or compensation in the event of your bird's death.
