■Size: US9 (Size 18) *This item is available in one size only, Size 18. Vintage horseshoe ring made of 925 silver. Horseshoes have long been considered lucky charms, hence they are also called lucky rings. The U-shape of the horseshoe is said to catch good luck from above and not let it escape, and there is a legend that blacksmiths made a pact with the Devil, agreeing not to harm homes that displayed horseshoes on their doors. These beliefs have established the horseshoe as a symbol of good fortune for a long time. As this is a very auspicious item, various types of horseshoe rings exist. The model we have in stock this time features a simple and minimalist design that is very appealing. The tips of both ends and the center of the horseshoe are three-dimensionally cut. This minimalist design, which simply depicts the U-shape of a horseshoe, is timeless and can be worn for a long time. -Horseshoe Ring- In ancient Europe, horseshoes were used as lucky charms. Originally, horseshoes were attached to doors to prevent the Devil from entering. There is a legend that when the Devil appeared before Dunstan, an English clergyman who was a blacksmith in his youth, and ordered him to repair a horse's shoe, Dunstan nailed the horseshoe to the Devil and made him promise not to enter a house with a horseshoe on the door before removing the shoe. It is said that in ancient Europe, villagers earned income by repairing the horseshoes of powerful figures, making horseshoes items of good fortune for earning a living. Because of this, there are various legends, such as Decorating your entrance with a horseshoe wards off evil and increases good luck, Placing a horseshoe with both ends pointing upwards allows the U-shape to catch and hold onto incoming good luck, Horses wearing horseshoes gather good luck, and Placing a horseshoe with both ends pointing downwards signifies warding off evil.
