【Item】Natural Hard Zeolite (Izukalite, Mordernite from Shimane Prefecture) 【Size】3-5mm 【Quantity】1kg 【Color】White to light blue-green, brown *The pot shown is a Plastella 90. Please use it as a reference for size. (Not included) Its clean, white appearance makes it look great as a top dressing. Plus, it has humidity control functions. Amazing! Depending on the size, it can also be very useful as a drainage layer. I use the 3-5mm size from this listing thinly at the bottom of Plastella pots (about the same height as the protrusions) as a drainage layer, and I also mix it into the soil. *It also has the effect of increasing water retention, but if you use too much, the soil will make it difficult for plants to draw out fertilizer components. We will inform purchasers of the appropriate amount to mix into the soil. 【Detailed Explanation Below】 This is natural hard zeolite from Shimane Prefecture. It is highly pure and is said to be harder and less prone to crumbling than zeolite from other regions. Zeolite, with its cage-like molecular structure, captures molecules such as water and formaldehyde. It has semi-permanent humidity control performance by absorbing and releasing moisture according to the surrounding humidity. Due to these properties, it is used in various applications such as: ?Root rot prevention agent ?Mold inhibitor ?Underfloor humidity control material ?Deodorizer ?Improved water retention ?Water purification ?Sick house syndrome countermeasure (adsorption of volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde and toluene) ?Decontamination (Izukalite has a track record of use in cesium removal) It is stored outdoors, so depending on recent weather conditions, it may arrive slightly steamed due to moisture released inside the bag, but there is no problem with the quality. It is coated with fine dust, so please wash it off if necessary. We will send approximately 1kg (not less) in packaging that can be delivered to your mailbox. ◆We also have other sizes available. Please consider them if you need fine-grained or drainage layer material. Click here for the manufacturer's site
