Tokoname Bonsai Pot. Dish Pot. Not unused, but no chips or scratches. How about for a luxurious hobby? It has a vintage feel and is a piece with a sense of history. There may be minor dirt, but it is in relatively clean condition with no noticeable damage. Size: 49cm x Depth 38cm x Height 4.5cm We will include 5 So-hai (decorative accessories) as a bonus. We will choose them as there are no photos. They appear to be cast iron or ceramic. Bonkei (盆景) is a Chinese and Japanese hobby and traditional art form where natural scenery is created by arranging soil, sand, rocks, moss, and plants on a tray, and then appreciating it. Bonkei as an exhibit in a Chrysanthemum Competition is a type of bonsai arrangement where a flow is created with sand and rocks on a tray, and decorative items are placed to add scenes of daily life. Like gardens, bonsai, and ikebana, Kei (景) is a three-dimensional plastic art that attempts to realistically express the beauty of nature in three dimensions. Made in Japan I was once overwhelmed at the Jindai Botanical Gardens by seeing scenery, plants, and decorations on a large water basin like this. The author is unknown, but this is a bonsai pot with a clean, refined, and beautiful finish. It is likely the work of a top craftsman with a clean finish. It has a wonderful sense of age and appears to have been made some time ago. The dimensions are also practical, and if the holes are filled, it can be used not only for suiseki (viewing stones) but also for creative bonsai with stones attached. It will be shipped wrapped in cardboard as it is the maximum size. My grandfather is 14.5cm. Thank you for looking. Click here for the manufacturer's site
