New, unused Size Approx. 22.5 cm x Approx. 22.5 cm (excluding ring) Height Approx. 40 cm (excluding knob, maximum size for long umbrellas) Height Approx. 22.5 cm (excluding knob, minimum size for folding umbrellas) Includes instruction manual This is a retro umbrella stand that was given as a novelty gift to members of National's (now Panasonic) fan club, Kurashi no Izumi Kai, in the 1970s. Not for sale. - Characteristic Design: It has a Showa-era retro pop atmosphere and is popular as a Space Age or Mid-Century interior piece. - Height Adjustment Function: The pole is extendable, allowing it to store not only long umbrellas but also folding umbrellas. - Material and Color: Made of plastic, it features an ivory and navy color scheme with blue polka dots. This stylish, compact umbrella stand won't take up much space even when placed in your entryway. The height of this umbrella stand can be freely adjusted by extending the pole, and up to 8 umbrellas can be stored by folding the ring at the top of the main unit outwards by 180 degrees. The base has a removable tray, so accumulated water can be easily discarded. Due to shipping and packaging considerations, it comes disassembled but is easy to set up. Although new and unused, there are areas where the plating has peeled due to age-related deterioration (see image 14). The original box has folds, tears, scuffs, stains, etc., so it will be shipped in a separate recycled box. Showa Retro Retro 60 Click here for the manufacturer's site
