BADA, a brand launched by Hiroshi Chikushoku in the 1980s, was known as the Alain Mikli of Japan. This is a vintage frame from OKIO Los Angeles, the overseas premium line of eyewear born from a unique and imaginative sense. At the time, the brand had a completely different concept from others, disregarding trends and opinions. Therefore, no compromises were made. This is a pair of glasses meticulously crafted with attention to both materials and construction. BADA was a domestic brand born in an era when there were no stylish eyewear brands in Japan, and it continuously produced innovative glasses to compete with global brands. It is famous for being a favorite of celebrities like Kyohei Shibata and Koji Kikkawa in the 1980s, enjoying explosive popularity, and it was revived in 2022. Please experience the world of BADA. They look great with colored lenses too. This is a vintage deadstock item. It has been cleaned before listing. Although it is new, as it is an old item, there may be minor scratches on the metal, slight imperfections from storage, or changes in the plastic. The demo lenses are also scratched, so please replace them before use. For the reasons above, it is being sold at a bargain price.
