A lightbulb-shaped glass thermometer featuring colorful floating boats. - Design: Lightbulb-shaped glass thermometer - Internal Structure: Design with colorful floating boats - Materials: Glass with a metal stand - Size: Approximately 13cm in height - Use: Interior decoration A Galileo thermometer (officially a Galileo thermometer) is a bit different from a regular thermometer; it's the observational type. Simple to Use: 1. Place on a flat surface. A location with minimal vibration is best (e.g., a shelf or desk). 2. Leave it for a while. Wait about 10-20 minutes for it to adjust to room temperature. 3. Observe the floating balls. * Balls floating at the top → Temperature is on the cooler side. * Balls sunk to the bottom → Temperature is on the warmer side. 4. Check the tag on the ball that stops in the middle. Each ball has a temperature written on it, like 20℃ or 24℃. The temperature of the ball floating at the very bottom indicates the current room temperature. ? A Few Tips: * Avoid direct sunlight or drafts from air conditioners, as they can affect accuracy. * After moving it, don't read it immediately; wait until it settles. * As it's primarily for decoration, it's not suited for precise temperature readings (within ±1℃). ? How it Works (Simplified): This utilizes Archimedes' principle. The density of the liquid changes with temperature, causing the balls to float or sink.
