#kouhiji's Putty Spatula ??B-Grade Stainless Steel, Size 4.5 Width is 21cm. Reason for B-Grade: The overall balance just didn't feel right. ??Features of this Spatula: The best part is the anko (filling)! The anko gives it thickness, making it feel great in your hand! You have to hold it once... It increases the distance when spreading (pulling) putty, making it easier to create clean lines! It's completely different from the flat spatulas you find commercially! It will definitely make putty work more enjoyable. ??Background of Making this Spatula: I used to be really bad at putty work... I could never apply it well. By chance, a craftsman friend of mine had a handmade spatula with anko filling, and I borrowed it to try. I was truly amazed at that time. It was so easy to use, and I could apply putty just like an experienced craftsman! I desperately wanted a similar spatula, but I couldn't find one anywhere. So, I decided to make one myself. Indeed, the thickness from the anko filling made it easy to use! As I was making them, other craftsmen around me asked me to make them one too! And somehow, I've ended up making over 10,000 so far! I've received very positive feedback from those who have purchased them! Thank you! I especially get great feedback from people who struggle with putty work like I used to, or those with less experience! I really want you to try it. I believe you'll come to like putty work and find it enjoyable! ??Detailed Explanation from Here On: This spatula is made from 0.4mm stainless steel. 0.4mm is the same thickness as Meiko spatulas. I felt it was a bit stiff, so I made the blade protrusion slightly longer. I believe it has a comfortable stiffness. Please give it a try. The coating is one coat of 2-component urethane sanding sealer, followed by two coats of 2-component urethane clear topcoat. I believe it's a very durable coating. I've made a considerable number of putty spatulas, and from those, I'm listing items with minor scratches, slight warping, misalignment, or minor balance issues as B-grade products.
