This is the NURSEWALKER 509 (FMN509-01) medical and nursing work shoe from asics. Unfortunately, this model has been discontinued (production ended) and is now very difficult to find in new, unused condition, making it a rare item. Asics nurse shoes are extremely popular in the field for being incredibly comfortable even during long hours of standing or walking. This 509 model, in particular, offers an excellent balance of support and breathability. I had kept it as a backup but am now selling it for organization purposes. Features GEL? technology: Asics' proprietary GEL? is embedded in the heel to absorb shock upon impact, reducing strain on your feet and legs. Durable AHAR? outsole: The sole uses AHAR? rubber, which is highly resistant to abrasion. It provides excellent slip resistance on hospital tile floors and wet surfaces for safety. Easy On/Off: Features a single strap (Velcro) for a secure fit. This allows for smooth transitions during sudden needs on night shifts or in situations requiring frequent shoe removal and wear. Breathable Mesh: Mesh material is incorporated on the sides to keep the inside of the shoe comfortable even during long shifts.
