It feels like it lasts a long time, and it's inexpensive. It cuts way better than I expected! I switched to this from a product I had used for many years from another manufacturer, and I was surprised by the sharpness and durability. I was loyal to XX, but when it got to about 1/4 remaining, shavings (carbon steel) started to come out, it felt crumbly, and it wore down quickly. Compared to XX, this product feels harder, cuts well for the price, and maintains its sharpness until the end.
