I used to crack eggs on the corner of a bowl or the edge of the sink. I never used any special tools. Until now, that was fine. The only minor issue was the egg white sometimes running off. The sink edge is 90 degrees. The bowl corner is about 20 degrees? A flat surface is 180 degrees. A pentagonal prism has 108 degrees. A flat surface is difficult to crack cleanly, and sometimes both eggs crack. A sharp bowl corner can crack too deeply, even breaking the yolk. The sink edge is okay, but you need to be careful with the angle, and the egg white tends to run down vertically. With the regular pentagonal prism, a corner is always facing up, so you can just drop the egg, and it cracks perfectly. Even though it's just cracking an egg, it feels satisfying, and when cleaning, you only need to wash the Columbus Egg Cracker, which is very hygienic. It's like the difference between a cheap watch you can buy for the price of a battery and a Rolex; you get a satisfying clink! every time you crack an egg. As shown in the image, if you use it on a small dish, even if you make a mistake, nothing will spill. (^^)/ It's not just for cracking eggs; you can also use it as a chopstick rest or a knife rest during cooking. In fact, you might find yourself using it for these purposes more often. Even when cracking soft-boiled eggs, which used to be difficult to peel cleanly, using the Columbus Egg Cracker to make many small cracks makes them peel beautifully. Simple is Best! Material: PLA resin (plant-derived plastic material such as starch, which can be buried in the ground and decomposed) Manufacturing: Since it is manufactured using a 3D printer, it has unique patterns similar to handmade items.
