Wheelchair scales are very expensive and most people cannot afford them. Having someone carry the person to weigh them and then subtracting their own weight puts a burden on both individuals. ○ By placing this over a commercially available scale, you can measure weight in a space-saving manner anytime. ○ How about for nursing homes, group homes, or those providing home care? Note: Wheelchair is not included. *Dimensions: Height 61cm, Width 60cm, Depth 4cm This can measure the weight of most wheelchairs. (Excluding special types such as reclining wheelchairs) Shower chairs can also be placed on it. First, place the scale on the floor and set the board so it is centered. Turn on the scale and confirm the digital display shows 0. ① Lift the front wheels onto the board and move forward to the stopper. ② Stop approximately in the center of the scale and apply the tire brakes. ③ Check that the feet at the four corners are not touching the floor. (If the feet are touching the floor, the measurement will not be accurate.) Finally, subtract the weight of the wheelchair to get the person's weight.
