This is a 10.5cm long pot of Echium wildpretii, also known as Jewelry Tower. The flowering image shows how it bloomed last year in April-May. The tower, which grew to 2m, was truly magnificent. It is weak to humidity and stuffiness, but it overwintered without problems in our area, even with snow. Please gradually repot the plant to allow it to grow without disturbing the roots and to strengthen it. If planting in the ground, create a raised bed and plant in well-draining soil. If planting in the ground, rainwater is sufficient. It takes 2 years from sowing to flowering. It may take 3 years if growth is slow. The plant will die after flowering. We will select a good plant and ship it in its pot via 4th class mail. Shipping is on Mondays and Tuesdays. We will also ship on Fridays until the weather becomes too hot and humid. However, Friday shipping will take an extra day. For those living far away, please add express shipping or change to Rakuraku Mercari便. We do not accept discounts on individual items.
