Please be sure to strain it with a miso strainer or similar before use. Henna and other natural plant-based products can lose their scent if not stored properly after opening. It is recommended to store them in the refrigerator or freezer to minimize odor. For 500g quantities, it is best to divide them into smaller portions and store them in the freezer. Henna alone will dye gray hair reddish-brown. Mixing with indigo will dye gray hair brown to black. When using herbal colors or a mixture of henna and indigo, indigo's dyeing power begins to decrease after about 1 hour. Therefore, apply the mixture immediately after mixing with hot water. There are two methods for dyeing with henna and indigo: (One-step dyeing) Mixing henna and indigo for dyeing is simple and takes less time. Changing the ratio of the ingredients can alter the color. More henna will result in brown hair. A 50/50 mix will result in a color close to black, with little difference from natural black hair, giving an overall near-black appearance. (Two-step dyeing) First, dye with henna, then with indigo. This allows you to achieve shades from brown to dark brown to almost black by adjusting the dyeing time, based on the red-orange color achieved with the initial henna dyeing. Indigo lacks stickiness, so adding 10-20% henna to indigo when dyeing will make it easier to apply. Harvest: Autumn 2025 Contents: 100g x 2, powder, vacuum-packed with zip closure.
