Walnut Single Slab Round ◆ Purchased a walnut log from a lumber dealer in Yamazaki Town, Shisō City, Hyōgo Prefecture (￥700,000) ◆ Processed the log by sanding ◆ Processed into a single slab (￥450,000) ◆ Used as a sunken kotatsu dining table ◆ Re-processed ◆ Cut the tabletop in half to make a bench (￥300,000) ◆ Processed the remaining half into a round shape Sizes (mm) are approximate measurements. *Please allow for slight differences in dimensions. Diameter: 700mm Slab thickness: 60mm This is a one-of-a-kind item, so no other identical piece of wood exists in the world. Selling because it is no longer used. Walnut cut into a circle with a thickness of 60mm. It is quite heavy. This is a rare and unique single slab of walnut with a substantial feel and beautiful grain (moku). The pattern appears three-dimensional but is flat and smooth. The 7th photo is from a separate listing, shown for comparison. The description is based on my personal opinion and attempts to detail visible flaws as much as possible, but oversights may occur. Furthermore, perceptions can vary, so please ask questions before purchasing if you are concerned. Please understand that this is a amateur inspection, and there may be some errors, scuffs, scratches, or dirt. There may be scratches or cracks not shown in the photos, but returns, cancellations, and complaints will not be accepted. As this is solid wood, cracks, splits, or warping may occur during use. Please purchase only after fully understanding the characteristics of solid wood. The appearance may differ depending on lighting conditions and monitor settings. Unused after processing. Non-smoker.
