This is an authentic handmade watering can series from Negishi Sangyo, used by professional bonsai artists. ● Stainless Steel Long-Spout Watering Can (Jōro) with Dedicated Strainer Net This is a dedicated strainer net for stainless steel watering cans. It is the same size and can be used for both No. 4 (4L) and No. 6 (6L) models. Made of stainless steel material (SUS430#400). Compared to copper watering cans, stainless steel watering cans are characterized by their lightness. By lengthening the spout of the watering can, water pressure can be controlled, allowing for stable watering with consistent water pressure. This prevents damage to the delicate branches and moss of bonsai. [New, Unused] [Includes Shipping] List price ￥2,400 (excluding tax) + Fees = ￥2,980 What is a Koshiami (Strainer Net)? It is a net attached to the water inlet when drawing water from a water tank, such as rainwater, to prevent leaves and debris from entering. ● Main unit and individual parts (spout, strainer net) can likely be purchased additionally from Negishi Sangyo or their retailers, but due to being handmade, it may take time. ● Negishi Sangyo's Stainless Steel Long-Spout Watering Can No. 4 and No. 6 are exclusively for bonsai. These are handcrafted by artisans and are popular among bonsai and gardening enthusiasts. The characteristic long spout is designed to maintain a stable water pressure and allow for consistent watering without damaging the delicate branches and moss of bonsai. Please consider this information before making a purchase. The price includes shipping. If you pick up the item in person, the shipping cost will be deducted.
