Management Number 501062330 155 2 133 1 260419 Thick rattan is valuable due to its rarity and high durability, and unlike cheaper alternatives, it can be used for a lifetime. Rarity: Rattan can only be harvested in tropical and subtropical regions, and thick, high-quality materials are limited. In Japan, rattan does not grow naturally, so all of it is imported, making good quality thick rattan especially rare and valuable. Durability and Strength: Thick rattan is very sturdy and, with proper care, can last a lifetime. This high durability is the source of its value. Aging: As a charm unique to natural materials, the deepening color and increasing luster with use, known as aging, are also appreciated. ◆◇◆ Condition ◆◇◆ There are some minor scratches and dirt due to age, but these contribute to a unique and deep texture. It is still in excellent condition and recommended for those who appreciate vintage and natural aesthetics. Oiled for conditioning. Overall, a beautiful and excellent item. Mint condition! (Please check the images for condition) Images of noticeable scratches are attached. (Images 13-15) Weight: Approximately 14kg *Due to the nature of the material, the rattan may have some slightly splintered areas. You may also find areas with knots, small chips, gaps, or changes in wood color along the way. Please enjoy it as is. *We kindly ask that you appreciate any minor scratches or damages, which may not be fully described in the text or images, as part of the charm of natural materials. We strive to photograph items accurately, but the actual color may vary slightly depending on your browser environment. Please consider that the item has some signs of use before making a purchase. *Please contact us if you wish to pick up the item. We will offer a discount equivalent to the shipping cost.
