This is the Doshisha Learning Globe Perfect Globe Horizon (PG-HR14), purchased to help children become familiar with geography. It has only been used 1-2 times and has been stored indoors. There are no smokers or pets in the household. All accessories are included. The main unit has no major scratches, operates well, and the touch response is smooth. The rubber cover of the touch pen has been removed and washed, but please be aware that it tends to attract dust. All accessories (USB cable, world sheet, instruction manual) are included. The instruction manual and box have some minor damage, and there is writing in alphabet on the box. This globe allows you to learn by selecting from 29 themes. It contains over 13,000 pieces of data, providing easy-to-understand audio guidance on 15 types of information such as continents/countries, capitals, population, currency, language, culture/history, geography, and highest points. It also includes 6 types of comparisons such as population, area, time, distance, flight time, 6 types of quizzes with selectable difficulty levels, and a knowledge section. The age range can be switched between 3 levels, making it suitable for long-term use from toddlers to adults. Information such as prime ministers of each country is as of the release date, so updates may be necessary if this is a concern (please refer to photos 10-12). The audio supports both Japanese and English bilingualism. The included World Sheet (Japan map and flag list) also speaks when touched, allowing learning from both the globe and an atlas. It's perfect for living room learning, educational toys (also for those looking for Kumon or Gakken materials), preparation for kindergarten to early elementary school, independent research, and memorizing world geography and flags. Unlike internet maps, its appeal lies in the ability to intuitively grasp spatial relationships on a spherical surface.
