Aoi no Hitomi, also known as Hydrangea serrata, is a type of hydrangea and an evergreen shrub. It blooms with clusters of small, beautiful blue-purple to pale blue flowers from white buds around June to July. After flowering, it produces berries that turn a deep lapis lazuli color around October to November. While hydrangeas typically shed their leaves in early winter as temperatures drop to overwinter, Aoi no Hitomi is an evergreen variety that does not lose its leaves. [Size] 5.5-inch pot *Tree shape, flowering status, etc. will vary. *Currently in bloom. Depending on the purchase time, flowers may not be present. [Watering] Prefers water. Water before the soil surface dries out. *Pay special attention from spring to autumn. [Fertilizer] Not particularly necessary. If fertilizing, do so around December to February. [Placement] Manage in bright shade. *Avoid strong direct sunlight. In cold regions, keep indoors. *Will be shipped with the pot. [Notes on Purchase] *Colors and shapes may vary due to growth and the effects of light during photography. Due to the nature of the product, some leaves may fall during shipping.
