【Direct Import from Sunshine Garden】 This specimen was bred and selected at Sunshine Garden, operated by bromeliad breeder Tawan Tothon in Chiang Mai, Thailand. ★★ Price Negotiation Welcome ★★ As this item is priced as a premium for collectors both domestically and internationally, please feel free to consult us in the comments section if you are considering a purchase. International shipping is also possible (please bear separate shipping costs and customs duties). ■ About the Specimen Scientific Name: xHohenlaeacium 'Darth Vader' This is an extremely rare intergeneric hybrid (xHohenlaeacium = intergeneric hybrid including Hohenbergia species) uniquely bred by Tawan Tothon of Sunshine Garden in Thailand. Its dark purple leaf color, almost black, with silvery-white crossbands is mesmerizing, and its appearance is reminiscent of Star Wars' Darth Vader, as its name suggests. ■ Rarity and Pricing Basis ? This variety is not distributed even overseas. ? An ultra-rare specimen for which no official distribution has been confirmed in Japan. ? The related Billbergia 'Darth Vader' has been traded at overseas nurseries like Tropiflora for $800-$2,500 (approximately ￥120,000-￥375,000). ? This specimen, being an intergeneric hybrid, is even rarer than Billbergia DV → Premium pricing. ? Direct plant from Sunshine Garden breeder Tawan Tothon. ? Hybridization: Sunshine Garden Original Hybrid ? Size: Medium ? Condition: Good ■ Cultivation Environment ? Location: Bright shade with good ventilation. ? Watering: Replace water in the tube (tank) when it dries out. Misting the leaves is also recommended. ? Cold tolerance: Minimum 10°C (50°F) recommended. ■ Shipping ? Shipped bare-root (without soil), wrapped in bubble wrap, in a 60-size cardboard box. ? Please consult us in the comments section if you have any preferences for repotting methods. ■ Notes ? As this is a plant, leaf color and shape may vary individually and seasonally. ? We cannot guarantee against leaf breakage during delivery. ? The plant shown in the photo will be shipped as is (actual specimen). #Bromeliad #Hohenbergia #DarthVader #xHohenlaeacium #NotDistributedInJapan #RarePlant #SunshineGarden #ThaiImport Click here for the manufacturer's site
