This is a remote control specifically designed for inspecting emergency exit lights, tailored for fire safety equipment inspections. It is compatible with the four major manufacturers: Panasonic, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and Odelic, making it likely to work with most LED emergency exit lights. (For Odelic products, compatibility is achieved with the RC920 remote control.) To simplify operation and eliminate the need for label printing, the function buttons have been arranged to provide only the essential functions, considering the limited number of buttons that can be memorized. By eliminating the need for labels, we have reduced costs and are offering this product at a lower price than similar models that require label printing. If you require labels, please apply them yourself. Operation is simple. Even if you are unsure of the emergency exit light manufacturer, by pressing CH∧, CH∨, VOL+, and VOL- in sequence, any LED emergency exit light (excluding defective units) will switch to battery mode with one of these buttons. If it does not switch, it may be due to an emergency exit light from a manufacturer other than the four major ones, or it could be a Panasonic or Odelic unit where the buttons were pressed again within 24 hours. [Button Layout Explanation] POWER: Panasonic Emergency Exit Light - Interruption CH∧: Panasonic Emergency Exit Light - Inspection CH∨: Toshiba Emergency Exit Light - Manual Inspection VOL+: Mitsubishi Emergency Exit Light - Manual Inspection VOL-: Odelic Emergency Exit Light - Inspection Mute: Odelic Emergency Exit Light - Interruption [Button Function Explanation] Inspection Button: Initiates self-inspection and automatically returns to normal mode after completion. Interruption Button: Interrupts self-inspection and returns to normal mode. Manual Inspection Button: Switches to emergency lighting for 3 seconds (Mitsubishi) or 5 seconds (Toshiba), then automatically returns to normal mode. This listing is for the main unit only. Batteries are not included. Please prepare two AAA batteries. *We have verified that equivalent infrared signals are output by analyzing the infrared signals of each manufacturer's remote control. This verification was done by comparing infrared signals acquired by our custom-built infrared signal analysis and acquisition device with computer analysis. Furthermore, we have confirmed operation with actual emergency exit lights for manufacturers other than Odelic. We kindly ask for your purchase if you understand these points.
