Emerald green Bohemian glass with hand-painted gilt floral decoration and dramatic hanging cut crystal prisms, dating to the late 1800s Victorian era. This antique Victorian Bohemian glass lustre is a substantial standalone statement piece with a deep emerald green body, scalloped tulip-form rim, and two rows of hanging faceted crystal spires that catch and scatter light beautifully. The glass has a rich translucent depth and sheen, especially when illuminated, while the long hanging prisms create movement, sparkle, and a delicate tinkling sound when they gently touch. The body is hand decorated with gilt and enamel floral motifs in white, blue, and pink accents with fine gold detailing throughout. The upper rim retains visible gilding with expected antique wear and rub-through from age and handling, while the gilt trim around the base is now mostly worn with only traces remaining. Please see all photos and video as part of the description. Size: 14.25 inches tall Approximately 6.5 inches widest diameter across body Condition: Antique condition with age-related wear throughout. Gilt detailing shows rub wear and loss, especially around the base. Small traces of candle wax inside interior. One crystal prism has a visible chip as photographed. Minor flea bites and edge roughness to some hanging prisms consistent with age. No missing hanging crystal drops noted. Overall displays beautifully.
