This is a charming set of two vintage German beer steins / mugs, each featuring a hand-painted village scene and a detailed pewter lid. The craftsmanship on these pieces is exquisite, showcasing a classic style of German pottery. Each stein is unique, depicting a different rural landscape. The intricate details and rich, earthy color palette make them a wonderful decorative pair. On the underside of each stein, you'll find the impressed mark Handarbeit B.E., which translates from German to Handcrafted B.E., indicating they are original, handmade pieces likely from a small studio or artisan. These are not just mugs but pieces of art and history. They would make a fantastic addition to any collection of vintage barware, German pottery, or rustic decor. They are perfect for display in a kitchen, bar, or study. Features: • Quantity: Set of 2 • Material: Ceramic/Pottery with Pewter Lids • Markings: Handarbeit B.E. on the base • Origin: Germany (based on the Handarbeit marking) • Design: Each stein features a unique, hand-painted village or countryside scene. Why buy this set? This is a great opportunity to own a unique set of handcrafted vintage steins that tell a story. Their rustic charm and historical appeal are perfect for collectors and anyone who appreciates artisanal quality.
