Designed by master ceramicist Aldo Londi for Bitossi, this iconic piece in the Rimini Blue pattern features bands of hand-impressed geometric patterns highlighted by a vibrant, multi-tonal glaze of cobalt blue, turquoise, and sea green. * Manufacturer: Bitossi Ceramiche (Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy) * Designer: Aldo Londi * Pattern/Line: Rimini Blue * Shape: Squat Globular / Onion Vase * Dimensions: Approximately 6.5 Tall with a 6.75 Maximum Diameter Very good vintage condition. The glaze is exceptionally bright and retains its classic glossy depth. There is some typical, minor glaze flaking/flea-biting along a few of the high points of the stamped geometric bands, which is entirely characteristic of vintage Bitossi pieces due to the thick application of the glaze over raw clay. No major chips, structural cracks, or repairs. The base is clean with expected unglazed shelf wear. We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home.
