Vintage Cornwall Regional Map Souvenir Tea TowelArtist: Clive Mayor (Signed in lower right corner)Brand/Publisher: Vista (Registration No. 852685)Material: 100% All CottonOrigin: Made in BritainDimensions: 29.5 L x 17.5 WCONSTRUCTION DETAILS:Features two traditional woven selvedge edges (left and right sides) with neatly hemmed top and bottom edges. This is a classic indicator of authentic mid-to-late 20th-century British narrow-loom textile manufacturing.DESIGN & GRAPHICS:Vibrant blue border housing a beautifully detailed, multi-color pictorial map of Cornwall, England. Features localized hand-drawn illustrations of regional landmarks (St Michael's Mount, Tintagel Castle), historic sailing ships, and official town heraldry/crests (Newquay, Liskeard, Bude, Penzance). The left and right margins feature elegant scroll plaques listing Cornish towns and villages in alphabetical order from Poundstock to Lamorna.CONDITION NOTE:Good vintage condition. The central illustrated map remains incredibly bright, crisp, and clear with pristine maker marks. Please note: There is a noticeable vertical storage fold-line fade running down the outer navy blue border (most prominent on the left side, as pictured). This is natural sun/storage fading from being stored folded for decades, adding to its authentic retro character. No holes or tears.Perfect for framing as retro wall art, kitchen display, or for collectors of British/UK memorabilia!
