Marc Jacobs Stam Satchel in quilted burgundy leather with gold-tone hardware. This bag will give you all the space you need. It features gorgeous patchwork leather and an oversized kiss-lock clasp. In a deep cocoa brown with just a hint of burgundy, somewhere between cocoa and raisin, more brown than burgundy. It’s stunning. Some light interior discoloration and wear on hardware, otherwise in excellent vintage condition. This bag has been thoroughly cleaned, leather conditioned and the hardware has been polished. It's a gorgeous bag, and if you're familiar with MJ then you already know this is a quality item with heavy weight hardware and leather that is made in Italy. Vintage MJ quilted styles like this one from the early 2000s, are surging on the resale market and considered collectible items driven by trends toward vintage, Y2K fashion, and a renewed appreciation for the brand's original, higher-end aesthetic. Their popularity is driven by high-quality craftsmanship and unique, identifiable designs that many modern luxury bags lack. MJ is a smart purchase for fashion lovers, as these styles and rare runway pieces are increasing in value due to scarcity and historical significance. Many collectors and reviewers note that the quality and craftsmanship of pre-2013 Marc Jacobs bags were superior to current standards across many designer brands. This makes them an attractive option on the secondhand market. Handle Drop: 4.75 Height: 9 Width: 16.25 Depth: 5.5
