This is a Game Boy Color released as a commemorative model for the launch of Pokémon Gold and Silver. It's a very rare, limited edition specification! The unit has been tested for power and appears to be in working order. We no longer have any game software, so we cannot confirm gameplay. This is a popular model featuring designs of Pikachu and the Johto starter Pokémon (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile). Purchased at the Pokémon Center in Nihonbashi at the time of release. It is rarely available on the market now and is highly sought after by collectors. This listing is for the console only; the box and documentation are not included. The batteries will be removed before shipping. There are signs of age, including dirt, signs of use, scratches, and scuffs. This item is being sold as-is. Please only purchase if you understand that this is a used item.
